My kids and I were so excited to be in a new environment, even with covid in the mist, we made the best of it! We walked to playgrounds that were right there in our neighborhood. The kids absolutely loved it. We also had our little downtown just five minutes down the road. We would walk the strip and explore there. Luckily, the little ice cream parlor was open for business. We would get a small cup of ice cream and eat it outside. We really love our new, healthy life! We had to get established with a doctor and enroll them into school and all that fun stuff. As we don’t vaccinate, it was a challenge finding a doctor that would accept our insurance and was okay with not vaccinating. Schooling was so new to us as it was remote learning. What a strange time we were in. We had to log in to our laptops every morning for school. My oldest did well, my youngest who was nonverbal autistic thought “what is this?” I feel like I did all the learning for him as he just wanted to go play with his toys. We were settling in nicely and getting used to our brand new old, new home, new state and covid!
